You *like* the cloth seats? How is the fabric holding up? Getting covers was going to be my highest priority because I don't like the feel of the fabric.

I'm so relieved to find a way to switch the armrests and center console (thanks everyone!)... I just picked up my 2017 hatch sport yesterday, and by the time I was home that armrest looks worn out. WTF was Honda thinking? Our 2015 sedan trim & fabric is so much nicer.
There's advantages for cloth seats, such as they're not burning hot in the summer or freezing cold in the winter (at least until the seat heater kicks in). Also you don't have to worry about the leather cracking or need conditioning.

Myself I have cloth seats and would prefer the leather, but they aren't that bad at the end of the day for me at least.

You read that right! Lol. Compared to other fabrics I've sat in, this does a good job of being firm without sinking in too much. Overall I think it is pretty comfortable. However, I had a chance to test Katzkin leather for a week and I am not fan of OEM leather anymore (hence why I went EX-T). Definitely going to get that installed soon, I think its a lot more plush than OEM.

Hello.

I've spent an hour in the back of my car looking for this c-clip. Is it visible? I could be blind but I got out the flashlight and everything. All I have on the passenger side is a little nub. No other sliver showing. Tried wiggling a screwdriver between it and the round piece that pivots with no luck. Any pictures or descriptions are appreciated.

Here's a photo from Froz3nTundra's original post. If you're sitting in the back seat, looking down at the center console, the c clip will be around the right side of the rod. I circled it in the photo.

I do appreciate your help. I don't know if you've preformed this work but this is all I see. Any further advice?

It looks like you have an extra piece, there. The clip should be behind that plastic ring surrounding the rod. I don't recall coming in contact with that piece. You can see in my photo that that piece isn't there. The center console piece came off and the clip was immediately exposed. I'm wondering if that came off the center console piece, accidentally. You're in an EX Hatchback?

Oh jeez. I'm feeling really dumb right about now. This original thread is for the hatchback. I saw talk about the sedan parts and assumed people did it in the sedan. Anyways I have the sedan. That would explain the problems. And I have a bunch of hatchback parts. Strangely enough the left and right console pieces worked fine.

Holy crap. That's so frustrating! Which parts did you end up buying? The elbow rests on the doors, too?

Yes sir. The front only. Not the rear.
Son of a... I'm sorry to hear that. If you don't send them back, I'm sure someone on this forum will buy them from you. Luckily, all these interior parts snap back in super fast.

Good and bad news. After much prying I figured out a solution that works to get the leather onto the console. So if anyone is illiterate like me, here's what you could do. When you open the arm rest up and slide it towards the roof of the car there are two screws. Remove them. The cover part becomes loose. Pry. Hard. I used a pry tool where shown in the picture. It popped off on both sides without anything breaking. For me. They are red clips and I'm sure this wasn't by the book. But the purchase stings a little less now.

Has anyone had an issue with the door panels where above where your arm/elbow would rest is getting worn? I'll have to take a photo, but on mine it's all worn down. Granted I got this car at 2k miles from my grandfather so I don't recall if he did it or if its a new issue, but its there and I hate it lol. It is not cloth, it's this garbage plastic like panel insert that the LX has.

Anyone know the part # for the cloth insert above the arm rest pictured here?

Also looking for the door pull pictured here that I am wondering is maybe only on the touring model:

I’ve checked with dealer. You need to buy whole door panel, buddy
