2) YES. And is it irritating. It feels like the car's about to stall. It didn't happen within the first week of driving, but developed during week 2. It only does it on flat stretches when going about 60 or so, haven't noticed it on surface streets. It seems to happen when the turbo kicks in. I watch the turbo monitor, and see the first bar pop up, and the problem starts. When the bar vacates, the issue goes away. It also goes away when accelerating or decelerating.
3) No stop stutter. Did notice a start stutter, where I pushed the gas and it took a second to catch. This only happened a couple times, and only after first starting the car and beginning to drive after letting it sit cold overnight.
4) Not tested yet, will ask the dealership to try this when I bring it in to fix the brightness knob on my main display that stopped working after they installed my dimming mirror.

2. Nope
3. Yes, I wasn't sure if it was just a cvt issue because it's my first automatic car, let alone being cvt. Mine happens around 8-10mph.
4. Haven't tried

So there has been quite a bit of chatter about transmission quirks with the new CVT's. Some notice the quirks and think they have an issue, some notice and think it's normal operation, and some don't notice them at all. For anyone with a quick second, could you:

1) List your engine model (2.0 or 1.5T).
2) Does or has your car ever exhibited "surging" - that is a fluctuation in RPM or momentum on level ground with constant accelerator position. Most easily tested for by finding a straight flat stretch of highway and seeing if the car feels like it's pulling constantly or alternates between slight acceleration and deceleration.
3) Does or has your car ever exhibit a "stop shutter" - that is a sudden and slight jerking forward upon coming to a stop. This is most easily tested for by leaving the car in D and Econ mode on, accelerating, and applying moderate brake until ~4MPH, at which time letting off the brake. Can be moderate to mild depending on road grade and brake pressure and won't happen every time.
4) Did performing a "battery reset" fix either of the issues for you?

3. Yes it does exhibit a stop shutter but not all the time. When it happens the decreasing rpm and the desceleration speed does not synchronized properly, the rpm is lagging to decrease with desceleration speed. At 0mph, the rpm reads 1,100 rpm for 3-4seconds before it kicks down to 700-800 rpm (idle rpm), you feel the slight jerking forward when the rpm kick down.
4. No
