ChrisFix makes great videos. Don't forget to pick up a bottle of Soapy Wooder if you're gonna attempt to clean your engine bay.

I got my XBT Controller for my LEDs and completely finished one headlight. I can now control my RGB running light, halo, and demon eye from my cell phone via BlueTooth.

This will be the last teaser pic. Next picture will show these dang things finally installed! I wish I could finish this right now, but I'm gonna be backpacking in MI upper peninsula for the next week.

Well done. Looks nice and clean.

I've been thinking about doing similar along with The Drop in Projectors from The Retrofit Source. How was install? Any tips or tricks with the housings? I was going to Black out the housing as well and replace the Turn with different amber LED and get rid of the turn reflector housing. Thoughts on that?

Enjoy your trip.

I would definitely do the H1 Mini projector with the Retro-quick brackets. This has been a huge pain in the rear.

Opening the lamp was really easy. Few small screws, some plastic tabs, nothing crazy. Just pop your housing in the oven @200°f for 5-8 mins to soften the sealant and it will split open. There is a lot of videos on youtube on how to split a headlight.

Blacking out the housing will be a bit more involved than you'd think. The decorative shroud is plastic welded to the clear cover. You'll have to grind away the welds and epoxy them back together when you're done. This isn't that big of a deal, but it's not like you can just pull some screws to get at the chrome.

Replacing the blinker shouldn't be hard, but you'll want to put something in place of it. That lamp is blocking some of the circuitry for the DRL.

That looks great but is probably expensive and a bit complicated
Yes, and yes.

One other thing, you should look at switch back LED strips. You could install a LED strip like I did in the DRL that would blink amber for the turn signal. I was going to do this, but I have a thing for RGB :p
