Twice my TPMS has said low tire pressure yet the tires were fine. I found the compressor but there is no jack in the side compartment in the hatch. Dealer said the car doesn't come with a jack.

yeah the indirect tpms system Honda started using a few years back is shit. just set all the tires to the exact same pressures and reset the system-do this by going into the vehicle settings menu on your touch screen. and to answer your question no jack, just the shitty inflator kit

Yes, I set all the tires to 38 lbs. Hasn't gone off since. Just worried about getting a flat somewhere remote and nobody having the correct size tire. Thanks for the reply. I guess I'll buy a bottle jack.

There is no spare tire with US CTRs. Thus no jack either as there is no reason to jack the car up.

Are the Contis runflats??
They are not. Tubeless, but not run flat. My point is there is no reason to jack the car up when you don't have a spare to put on it. If you opt to buy a spare then, sure buy a jack as well.

Oh, I agree, but it seems like an odd choice for Honda. I'm all for weight savings, but most manufacturers that do that use runflats (which also suck). It's a bold move to give neither option. You're kind of screwed if you get a flat, but oh well. Does the inflator kit have something to try to seal the tire? Inflating won't do much good if there is a hole in it.

There is a sealant in the compressor that's supposed to fix flats. I'm not sure how many fixes there are but I know you can buy refills for the compressor. Bottom line, when the tires wear out buy run flats.

Yes, it does have a tire seal product of some sort. My plan is - don't get a flat! :rolleyes1: Seriously though, I would be calling a wrecker.

With a jack I could remove the tire/wheel and take it to a tire shop to get repaired. I'll end up buying a bottle jack for it, just to have in the car. When I first posted, I thought someone at the dealership removed it.
