Just my 2 cents....

The pieces look nice, but welds could be "tighter". Much rather do without the branding logo welded to the item.

In my humble opinion, Honda put the heat shielding in place for a reason...a reason that 100's of man hours went into researching...I don't think an aftermarket replacement that incorporates $40 in pipe and flanges should be an effective replacement. Especially charging the aforementioned $775.00.

I get price incorporates the skill and labor to create the piece. But if the presented pieces are examples, I'll pass.

At that price point I'd expect much much tighter welds, no logo welded to the piping, some kind of polish or protection treatment...maybe a heat ceramic coating...and it should have PERFECT fitment.

Not trying to bash this product completely...at a lower price I might buy....but the work presented is most definitely not worth more than maybe $200-300.

Just my opinion, your thoughts may vary.

Agree 100%

He should just sell them at $300 shipped to your door that way we can test them, give feedback and reviews and he could build i huge customer base from the forums alone.. not even Full-race ( a reputable manufacturer) charges that much for a simple dp

Noob question. Is that just a pipe on the very right, or is it a catalytic converter?

That DP was developed and is currently fitted to my CTR. There is much more than $40 in materials, I can attest to that, but I agree pricing is a bit steep.

I have a baseline hp number from my CTR when it was 100% stock (301/292 Dynojet) and I'll be doing another run in the next couple of days. It does throw up a CEL and the REV match becomes disabled. You can definitely feel a difference in power from this DP and a slight increase in sound. I've beat on it pretty hard in street use and temperatures have stayed the same as when stock.

Next up is a custom exhaust. Hopefully some kind of tuning tool comes to market soon to really take advantage of these mods.

Please make sure to make a separate thread for that next dyno session so we can all make sure we see the difference of slapping on a down-pipe without a tune etc. Thanks!
