@youCTR i have test fitted the wheel size that I'm buying. No rub issues with a 265/35 tire
I just asked another member about rims and the 265/30
I was going to go with 19" x 9.5 also, but I think they are a 42 offset. I am wanting to go with 265/30, because I am worried on a load in a corner, under a lot of compression, that the splash shields could possibly rub with a 265/35(which is what is recommended), or the middle of the tire on the wheel well in the same circumstances.

Going to test fit some 19x9.5 ET42 with the 265/35-19 tomorrow so should be able to help you with this decision soon.

Honda Civic 10th gen Effects of Lower Offset / Wider / Lighter Wheels IMG_1779.JPG I'm not a computer... however after driving with my +35 setup, any additional torque steer is not noticeable. On the flip side, it's much more spirited and nimble and the ride is even smoother!

Those look sweet!

My feeling is the aftermarket will sort itself out over the next few months and we'll have more choice - although I am looking forward to what @jonnys_honda has come up with.

I was thinking of ordering Mugen MFC or the Honda FK2 rims, but it isn't actually known yet AFAIK that either of those will fit - they should fit, but if they don't, then what can I do with them in Canada, LOL. I sent King Motorsports a message about the MFC's.

In the meantime, I picked up some fugly 18x9 ET45 Enkei's as I'll need to get all-season tires on the car before September.

So 19x9.5 ET42 w/ 265/35-19 Supersports rubs a tiny bit in the rear on the outside fender overhang (nothing an ever so tiny bit of Dremel work can't fix in 2 mins). A different brand of tire in the same size probably doesn't even rub as it is that close. No rubbing on the front. No discernible torque-steer and that's even with spinning the front tires a little. All this on the street though so not quite as aggressive as track.

Sorry. Not authorized to show any pics... but the 19s look great. A little more sidewall with the 265/35-19 than I personally want so I'm going to stick with the 265/30-20 and split the difference between that and the stock 245/30-20 as I can't stand the sucked-in rubber-band look of the OE tire. All this once I can BUY A CAR!!!! :(

Hmmm...this makes me wonder. I have, on order, 18x9.5 ET45 275/35R18, so I wonder if I'll get some rub in the rear :dunno:

The offset on that should be fine, but with a 275 tire, you might rub. It's shorter than the factory tire, but will sit wider than the 265 we test fit.

Super sexy.

What wheel/spec/tire size...and where did you get the caps at?
