Rumour has it that dealers will be getting alternating colours. Seems like a lot of black in Ontario initially.
I was surprised at the amount of orange peel, but I have to remember that the Type R is getting the same paint as any Civic (hatch).

I was almost in the same situation but I was 4 inline, I talked to the general manager and asked how many cars are they going to get for 2017 R, he said 4 but 1 is not for sale so I have to wait until September to get 2018 R, but I told I only want 2017 not 2018, and he told me rudely "then just come a get refund on my deposit", so I said fuck it and look for another dealership, found one but 5 hrs drive away and the salesman said if I make a deposit right away through the phone and the second car is my, so now I have a hope, hopefully it coming soon and loosing a lots of sleep this few nightHORROR STORY!!!! Just dropped by my dealership in BRAMPTON, ON - Family Honda. A Black CTR arrived today and as I pulled up to the side of the dealership, there she was! Beautiful and I was so excited to talk to someone about getting the paperwork drawn up. That's where this story turns to shit, the Sales Manager tells me that the GM has decided to keep the car, WHAT A BUNCH OF BULL SHIT! I put my deposit in last year and I was assured I would receive the first car to come in on several occasions! The GM is going to call me tomorrow, my blood is boiling and I'm not looking forward to this conversation.
So unprofessional, why would they not tell me this months ago so I could put myself on another dealerships list. Does anyone have any suggestions what to do here?

initially i was a bit disappointed i didn't get white... but i saw a black one today in person and it has it's own beauty!! so i'm no longer disappointed.. even more excited!! : >

i'm getting mine monday...
Friday i promised my son to take him to the honda indy... saturday i could... but my sales guy is on vacation that day... i want to have him there when i get it... he's been such a great help and amazing.. i even got accessories at Cost! 150 for window visors and 140 for truck lining
