My bad bro just the fact we lose Bluetooth?
No worries. Bluetooth operation is dependent on your new head unit. Crutchfield is saying that the harness doesn't provide access to an existing bluetooth module. When you take out the stock stereo, bluetooth goes with it, but you replace it with your new head unit. I have the pioneer 4200nex and bluetooth works fine.

Last idiot question the mic you are gonna use for phone calls. Is its gonna be the factory Mic built in the car or the aftermarket one that goes over ur dash. Last one I swear.

A lot of this has been discussed in various other threads as we've all had the same questions.

I used the mic that came with my Pioneer unit. Ended up removing the factory mic and running the pioneer mic up to the factory location by the map lights. See here.

This thread details some success with the Kenwood unit working with the factory mic, but you'll have to buy an extra harness and cannibalize pins to be added to the main harness. Details in that thread.

My Pioneer radio doesn't seem compatible with the OEM mic, however some others have successfully wired it to Kenwood units. There are some instructions here on the forum.

Since we're having the conversation in this thread, how did the audio quality end up with the pioneer mic in the ceiling?

I'm told it sounds okay through AA, but calling directly using the head gives me a mic volume control and am told it's a little louder that way. Works well enough for me either way.

Nice, I'm leaning hard toward the pioneer with this mic setup. Either you or someone else had the details on switching the camera view so if I can set it to narrow angle all the time I'd be thrilled.

Not me, but these guys were bouncing around ideas about toggling voltages to manipulate camera angles. I preferred wide anyway so I never messed with it.

I posted this in another thread, but should probably be included here. For me, the biggest pain was finding where to run reverse and illumnation wires since those are not included in the harnesses. I was able to find both under the dash:
How did you remove the panel below the steering column? I couldnt find how to do it and didnt want to break stuff..

Grab on the bottom corners and pull out. Careful of the wires on the left for TCS button and connector on the right for cabin temp sensor.

Here's where the clips are:

Finished my install a few weeks ago, here's my itemized install list.

Head unit, wiring, and adapters
Pioneer AVH-4200NEX $499.99
Metra 70-1731 Wiring Harness $17.99
Metra 40-HD11 Antenna Adapter $5.99
Axxess ASWC-1 Steering Wheel Control Adapter $35.95
Metra 95-7812B Dash Kit Matte Black $14.99
PAC USB-TY1 OEM USB Port Retention Cable $9.55
MicroBypass Parking Brake Switch $13.99
Chromecast $35.00

Amp and wiring
Pioneer GM-D9605 Gm Digital Series Class D 5-Channel Amp $196.94
KnuKonceptz KCA Complete 4 Gauge Amp Installation Kit $32.48
Stinger SI4617 17-Foot 4000 Series Professional 6 Channel RCA Interconnects $25.56
SCOSCHE EFXS9WC18-20B 9-Wire 18AWG OFC Ultra-Flex Speaker Cable $29.05
6.5" speakers, wiring, and apapters
Alpine Sps-610c + Alpine Sps-610 Speakers $129.99
Metra 72-7800 Speaker Connectors $15.32
Ai HSB524 2006-2011 Honda Speaker Adapter $16.48
Sub and cheap box
Alpine SWS10D4 Type-S 10 Subwoofer $89.99
Scosche Se10 10-Inch Sealed Subwoofer Enclosure $34.48

Total: $1,203.74

I kept it pretty modest with my speaker and amp selection. Alpine Type-S speakers all around, components up front, 2-way in the back and 10" subwoofer. Went with a 5-Channel amp for simplicity. Head unit and install package came from Crutchfield, everything else was amazon; all installed by me.

I am extremely satisfied with the outcome, it's a massive improvement over stock. At some point, I'd like to get/build a custom sub box, preferably tucked in behind the wheel well. I'm also considering adding the FAST Ring foam speaker surrounds for the doors. Other than that, I'm pretty much set.

Shoutout to everyone that posted helpful info in this and other threads. Thank you!
