CTR TX ETA Update?

Any future CTR owners in Texas have an ETA on your delivery? Apparently Houston has been saying delivered since last week and none of the dealerships have them yet. I called around and one said they expected it today, another said this week maybe next. Long story short: No one knows anything. I've seen other threads about other states complaining about Honda having terrible communications with dealerships regarding shipping info.

Hiya! Not Texas but Arkansas and I've been in the same boat. Dealership said the car was "delivered" last Monday yet no dealerships in the area have received anything yet.

My eta was 24th - 28th last I heard from my dealer. So far nothing, though.

I called JEH again, and they said they're thinking tomorrow lol. but again it's all over the place.. I'm now searching outside of TX

$35000 item, can't get proper ETAs on it. $5 item on Amazon? ETA accuracy to the hour.

Dealer in San Marcos was expecting an arrival today, haven't heard anything from them yet, I will keep you posted!!

Which dealer are you purchasing from if you don't mind me asking? Heard the Honda dealer in Longview has a red one but I don't like that dealership....

John Eagle Honda. I can't remember which one but either Gillman or Spring Branch are doing an auction type ADM, which is what Honda Corporate suggested I believe, and asked if I wanted to come in and see it when it arrived. Not for ADM... The other is already sold.

I'm curious about the Texas Type Rs myself. While I'm not in the market for the 2017 I'd still like to see one in person.

Already told a few of the folks that are in Houston that I'd meet up at a coffee shop.

San Antonio here but I have family in Houston. So maybe someday...

I bought a 2000 Honda Si Electron Blue Pearl from Gillman Honda of Fort Bend back in huh 2000. I don't think they knew what they had and that dealerships down in Rosenberg, pickup truck country. I wonder if/when they'll get a Type R.

Gillman said they are.

They are doing a Charity Auction @ Howdy Honda(Austin) on July 19in for Blue.

The way it works is, the car will be sold for MSRP. But whoever has the highest "bid" for a charity donation gets the car. The charity donation can't be financed with the dealership, the car however can.
