Red Interior Illumination for sedan?

Posted this a couple weeks ago in the general board but didn't get any responses. Maybe better luck here. I would love to add the red interior illumination and console illumination (and maybe later the red door sills) to my touring sedan.

The red is only offered on the SI and the Type R. Should the SI sedan's red illumination parts be compatible? I don't think there any differences in the fit of the interior consoles between SI and sedan, but not 100% sure. Anybody have any thoughts?

I can't officially confirm but I would feel 99% confident that it would work. Check out the accessories page on colledgehillshonda.com because they should have the interior illumination kits (blue and red) for sale with installation instructions. If you wanted to get the same ones that are listed for the SI and Type R then I wouldn't worry about if they'll fit on your car. I really don't think they'd be exclusively different for those two models.

I ruin even the simplest of DYI projects. OEM and dealer installed or bust for me, lol.

Looks awesome. I figured it should fit (the actual consoles themselves are identical, no?), but needed to hear some second opinions.
