Try that link but replace "civicx" with the other name, no hyphens.

Dam your cracked mirror looks worse then mine but def similar no doubt, did you ever get yours replaced after all?

Who are you asking? Me? Wasn't my cracked mirror…

This happened to me yesterday, no clue i thought there was some pine on my mirror but instead it was a crack. It was on driver side mirror.

Anyone know who to contact for this problem? If not, I will just contact my dealership later

The same day my mirror cracked I drove right over to the dealership and told the service advisor what had happen to the mirror, and they opened up a work order to have it replaced. This was back at the beginning of January I still have not heard anything as to when the part will come in. The touch up paint for cosmic blue won't even be in stock till Feb 18th, so I can only imagine the wait time for the replacement mirror.

Wait, you guys have heated side mirrors? I don't think they have that on the touring here in Canada.

This is my first car where the heated mirrors can't be turned on once and left on all winter. They only turn on with the rear window defrost - are you sure yours don't come on with the rear defrost - the button even has a mirror symbol attached to the back door symbol here in America.

--Update--
Just called my dealership and the replacement mirror Is in. Scheduled for Feb 6 to install new mirror.

i have been busy at work but this is what it looks like. I think ill take it to dealership this weekend

Wow, yeah this looks to be a defect, looks pretty similar to mine and another person that had his crack on the same side. Looks like Honda will have to remedy this problem or stop making civics with the side mirror defrost option.

Woke up to about a inch of snow on my car. Cleaned it all off and turned on my rear window/side mirror defrosters. Hit a set of railroad tracks then glanced over before making a left and saw my drivers side rear view mirror was cracked. Meh hopefully the replacement mirror is stronger.

Its a known problem I think, call honda and take it to your dealership for repair

Yeah i heard of like 3 or 4 more cases like this on forums. I called and they should have the part in on Tuesday. 1st gen of a new gen bugs *shrugs* i just got the car back on Wednesday from the circlip recall.

Happened to me too, thinking ill just go to the dealer sometime, should be under warranty no?
