Damn, that looks really nice. Better than factory. The stitching on the armrests is a really nice extra touch, too.Swapped out Black/Grey cloth in my Rally Red Sport Hatchback 6MT to Black/Salsa Red perf. leather. Couldn't stand the scratchy-ness of the cloth on my arms anymore.
does it help with the ambient temperature or just helps with shielding/screening the seats, dash etc from the heat of the sun?Tried out my CoverCraft sunshade in some 90+ degree heat. It's definitely a sturdy, quality product. Recommended.
I have the same car in blue, I'm replacing the front arm rest and the door pieces with leather and I have neoprene seat covers all the way around. I concur the cloth in these cars is complete shit. You're looking at $1200-$1600 depending on the install place. Dealerships do this type of thing but will charge $2000-3000 for the same thing. I had my overnight shipped because I was in a rush.... I hate waiting for things once I realize I really want something... haha
It was still very warm getting in my car after sitting in the 90 degree sun all day but definitely was noticeably cooler than without. Fact is, I bought it as much for protecting the dash and leather so it works great for that. The seats were also much cooler than expected.does it help with the ambient temperature or just helps with shielding/screening the seats, dash etc from the heat of the sun?
my cousin helped me out also we use playin cards/flashcards lol@fc two
How hard / easy was it to black out that chrome? You did an amazing job, can't even tell it used to be a different color. Tips are appreciated.
its a spray u can get at ur local home depo or osh called ( plasti dip ) then just I use a deck of cards/flashcard to mask of the areaWhat did you do to cover the chrome? I'm very new to working on cars. Is it just a spray? I want to remove all the chrome from my SGP to include the emblems on the front and back.
Biggest differences for me are the seats, a noticeable difference in ambient temp, and my goodness the steering wheel. I forgot to put my sunshade up on Monday, owwww. Put it up today and made a huge difference. It was still very warm getting in my car after sitting in the 90 degree sun all day but definitely was noticeably cooler than without.
