Replaced the air filter today at 28,000 miles - so much sand and broken leaves in the housing.

Car seems to run faster after this "mod."
Did you use Wix air filter. Avoid STP and FRAM, imo, not because they don't protect but rather the paper is a bit too thick). You have to use Wix brand.

I also added some gold trim to the interior like you did, but mine keeps falling out of the door trim . Right now I have some clear tapes to keep it in place but it bothers me seeing the tapes there lol. Any trick to keep it in place?

I suggest some cheap thin double sided tape. Just cut a tiny piece to put on the inside edge that you would shove into the gap. Just get cheap ones so you don't have to worry about the adhesive getting stuck in the gap.

Not sure how I feel about these yet. Piano black pillar covers - fitment 5/10. I thought they would wrap around a little more but they just sit right on top. You can see in one picture the lengths are off, but honestly you can't even tell from a few feet away.

What's the issue? Nothing screamed "yikes" to me.

I wrapped my pillars in glossy vinyl - so much better than the matte crap black that comes standard.

I purchased Fog Lights for my car from CariD, they arrived today. I’m wondering if anyone has installed fog lights on a civic that didn’t have them before ? Any tips ?

Link to which ones I got:

this is in my "to do" list actually. Here's a link to a tutorial to a guy installing fogs on his LX. requires a little bit of drilling which is the reason why its on the bottom of my list.

i personally like things on my car flush and fit proper but thats just me... plus i have some insane OCD, so having something that sticks and sits like a couple millimeters out on the window pillars would really bother me.

my ocd stems from my job in quality assurance so you got to understand from my perspective lol :p

Drilling? My Led's shop did it and it was pretty straight forward, the worst part was removing the bumper...

As I mentioned, I didn't installed it, but I watched the shop guy did it, the factory foglights covers are mounted with screws from the inside of the bumper, just unscrew and install the new fogs cover, the foglights itself (at least mine) have a custom brackets that also screw in a metal part of the bumper. If you are talking about the drill process that the video guy did it inside the wheelwell, I didn't that part, my fogs turn on with the headlamps automatically.

WOAH:eek:
looks nice! how much did that cost you if you dont mind

You're looking at $1200-$1600 depending on the install place. Dealerships do this type of thing but will charge $2000-3000 for the same thing. I had my overnight shipped because I was in a rush.... I hate waiting for things once I realize I really want something... haha
