I'd be pretty confident they aren't using fiberglass anywhere. Too expensive and time consuming to produce for a very high volume, low cost, car.

OEM parts get expensive. The price is supposed to go down after the 18th. I think i paid $100 for 2.
I paid 30 bucks for the OEM chrome tip for my 2014 CRV. And I'm wondering since it also had that down facing tail pipe if the tips for a CRV might fit the Civic Touring.
I'll just hold off until the pricing comes down and more options are out there. I have seen some folks get tips for as little as 10 bucks each

The CRV tips won't work. Slightly different angle and the pipe is larger. The $12 tips at AutoZone are nice too.

Thanks for the info, I've been wondering about that. I'm sure within a few more months more aftermarket parts will be available. Mine is pretty well dressed now, but I still like the look of the chrome tips. I think that's the last thing I'd be doing to it to complete the look I'm going for.
