I feel for you guys out there I'm lucky to work at a dealer in a smaller town.
I'm in a smaller town and still no one has any information or idea on ETA. lol I just hope that this smaller town is getting more than 1 CTR.

Most of the dealers around me aren't taking deposits because they keep saying they don't know the pricing yet etc. The one dealers said today "We won't be taking any deposits because the pricing has yet to be determined".

I was SO close to emailing her back saying "would it help if I showed you a picture of the window sticker?" lol

I called every dealer in my new england area and was able to find two i can put my name on. 3 dealers told me they expect them by the 10th which is this Saturday(definetely dellusional). All the other dealers had no idea and still say end of this month to 2 months away. Its insane how there is so much variance from dealer to dealer. I am heartbroken right now, my short sale approval on my new home is finally coming through so i might have to wait a little bit before i can pull a new auto loan :(. If anyone is in the Massachussetts/NH area is still looking i know of a dealership.
I'm in the same predicament as you. I got the first spot locked down in MA. However, I'm waiting to close on a new home. *FINGERS CROSSED* if I can't pull the trigger, CW will be up for grabs.

The 'smaller town' logic doesn't always work...I've called plenty of places in the Midwest, and the ones that weren't already spoken for either had $5k ADM (gee...I wonder why they're not spoken for yet) or "we're waiting for more information."

Which is why I said work. Not as much interest as bigger cities so it was easier to get ahead of the game

All dealership know the prices they just keeping it a secret, because Honda is doing something with this race in Montreal this weekend and they going to announce the sale of type R to the North America, they can't say anything because honda said so, that why there are so many leaks and nothing set in stone for us to know, and if honda being a dick they technically still be able to postpone the release date until later which I hope not because that is really going to pis alot of type R fans

Ughhh I was planning to lie low until 2019 or even 2020 since I'm not in a super rush to get the CTR. By then, ADMs would have been mitigated, all bugs would have been worked out, and whatever enhancements would have been put in place. I could have also sworn there was talk of an even more aggressive model possibly. Waiting until the last year of the Mk10 cycle could also allow a preview/leaks of the Mk11 design (if there will be a Type R for the next generation) to see if the newer one would be worth waiting for.

If 2018 will be the final year of the CTR, I guess I can't stay complacent and will need to start pounding the pavement soon lol.

Got off the phone with a trusted source (doesn't mean it's 100% accurate as he doesn't make any decisions this high up and anything can change on the fly, so don't shoot the messenger if something doesn't come to be), but as best as he knows and has heard:

*There will be right at 2500 CTRs made for America this model year. There is a list of color breakdown, but it is listed as confidential and won't tell me those numbers.

*On-sale date is slated for June 15. Cars will start shipping from port a couple days before.

*Best rumor for 2018 MY is that Honda will make about 300 CTRs a month for America market. There is no plan for after the 2018 run. Honda could shut it down after those are done..OR they could reaccess the situation and keep it going depending on demand.

*States not showing in the IN are for no explained reason. Everything should start displaying soon for every dealer.

This is probably the MOST accurate information I read on this forum. ;)
If Honda decides to continue on MY19: You heard it here first, there WILL be a bump in power. :drive:
