I like HPJ and think he is a great guy for the Honda brand. That said, he is a brand advocate, not to be confused with a representative for Honda.
Agreed. A lot of people seem to think he gets insider info from Honda, but I believe he gets the same type of info as any other auto journalist.

In fact, in one of his Instagram live videos, he said that he's not paid by Honda (not an Honda employee) and actually works for a digital marketing company.

No dealers in the southeast are showing up yet on the Honda iN for the CTR. Looks like we're the last region to get info. I'll post as soon as I see GA/AL/TN/NC/SC/FL on the in-transit report.

If true, I bet Honda pays that digital marketing company.

The Gm I spoke to said hes definitely getting 3 due to his hi volume Honda dealer (hard to believe) but like many of you said they are lucky if they get 2. He said I will be getting the color I want since I put the deposit before anyone else. To be honest guys Im at the point if I don't get it the car ill be ok life goes on and it was cool hanging out in this forum and seeing all the posts, all you helpful guys I really appreciate you all for going out of your way helping . You guys were more informative then the dealer. You guys made the chase fun regardless
The dealer I have been working with has claimed that they are getting 4 for the 2017my. That was their story since I put my deposit down over 3 months ago, and it remains to this day. I hope that info is accurate, since I was the fourth to put a deposit in. If so, I wonder how they will show up (all at once, one or two at a time...).

My dealer did tell me that the West usually gets the new arrivals first, so that makes sense. I stopped by a different local dealer today (South Point Honda in Durham, NC) and the sales rep told me (very confidently in front of the lady working the reception desk) that the Si won't be available for 2 more weeks. Ahem. He then told me that their first CTR has already been sold & the second one will have 10% ADM. I had already turned on my heel before he got the 10% ADM out of his mouth and said "Good luck with that!" as I went out the door.

I'm sure some of you guys in the bigger markets are thinking $3,500ADM isn't that bad, but add them to the naughty list.

is it amazing? So hard purchasing a car I'ver never seen or sat in... let alone drove.
Ha, I know right. Best thing to do is drive the hatchback sport to get an idea of what the bones of the car are like. And then maybe a Si to see an example of the power.

how and where has this been delieved to your dealership and your taken delivery ?
There's a couple CTRs roaming around Cali that Honda reps/engineers are driving to log miles on and note any issues. They usually stop by local dealers to let the employees take a look. Not uncommon for any new vehicle launch with Honda.

New one or the famous 3124 car?
Not sure if it was the 3124 but it was white. We had a little car show here at corporate(SoCal) so they had it out there.
