Kinda makes me glad I have "Angry Racer" as it's cool.

But I am left wondering if smiling racer is cooler? Damn. A whole new trading section should started../
There should be a poll on here to see how these Easter eggs have tallied up and which ones have shown up the most in everyone's 2016 Civic so far!
:agree:

1. No
2. US
3. LX Manual

I ordered one from https://www.hondapartsunlimited.com/ for just over $5 shipped. I love all the ways I get penalized by Honda for wanting a manual transmission vehicle!

Did you receive the rubber pad that lines the bottom of the arm rest compartment?

e.g.
http://www.civicx.com/threads/first-2016-civic-easter-egg-found-in-arm-rest.266/

Please indicate:

  1. Yes/No
  2. Country (US, Canada)
  3. Civic Trim
Thank you!

I bought a 2016 Civic Sedan LX Manual (Canada) and I don't have any rubber pad.
It seems quite unfinished at the bottom, because you can see some bolt heads.

I asked my salesman and he wasn't sure,
suggested maybe they only came on Touring.

Here's a video with Honda Jason, in a US Touring
mine looks like what you see after he removes the pad... the bolt heads

This is Honda Laura in a US EX-L and it looks like it has the pad too

the LX doesn't come with the rubber mat at all?? wtf?
I specifically looked for it and even asked about the mat when I was checking out my LX before driving it off the lot. The salesman appeared (or pretended) to be ignorant of what I was asking about. From what others are saying in this thread it appears to be left out of the LX trim. $5 shipped is not that bad but it is the principle of the thing.

Of which $800 lower MSRP than any other '16 Civic counts as how many?

Actually, I was counting the fact that I cannot have: leather seats, Lane watch, Apple Carplay, etc. even if I wanted to pay for them simply because I wanted a manual transmission Civic. I wasn't buying on price but based on what was available with a manual transmission. The fact that they left out a basic, inexpensive item like a console mat is just icing on the cake.

Don't get me wrong, I love the car and actually am finding I really don't mind not having all those features anyway. So I will enjoy my lower monthly payment and pay the car off sooner which is a benefit.
