Wondering whether the Si release will impact other model pricing at the dealers. I'm interested in the EX HB with Sensing. Based on Costco partner pricing I was offered $21.9K+fees and tt&l here in California.

Any thoughts? Seems like hatchbacks are selling well here in So Cal so I'm thinking $21.9 is a great price.

-R.
I received a Costco price for $21.4K+ TTL for the EX w/o sensing in DFW. Price you got seems good.
Do the hatchbacks in your area have any dealer installed stuff like mud flaps, wheel locks etc..?

Wheel locks on a sport are necessary on a EX? I pray each day somebody steels my wheels.. lol

Some do and some don't. I am explicitly telling dealers I don't want any accessories and refuse to pay for them. Much cheaper for us to get them after the sale.

I think at this month they do on sale for the HB or Accord. Most dealers remove all the options like wheel locks or mud flap. I noticed since I shop around

Purchased 04/30/2017 Orlando, FL

State: FL
Trim: Sport Touring
Tranny: CVT
Color: Aegean Blue
Options: None
MSRP: $29,175.00
Sales Price: $26,620.00
Destination Charge: $875.00 (Included)
Dealer Fee: $699.00 (FL sucks)
Tax: $1688.26 (At 6.5%)
Tag/Title/Fees:
OTD Price: $28,465.58

The paperwork is a bit of a mess considering there's a college grad rebate, a trade-in, a GAP agreement, and service contract mixed in there so the numbers don't square up too easily but the OTD price is going off the total sales price sans GAP, service contract, and finance charge.

I have the 2017 Hatchback EX in white orchid. MSRP its $23,635. I paid around $21,000. I also got it right when they came out, at the end of October so the salesman wouldn't go down too much.

I'm curious, did they throw in anything free?

If only Honda made enough manual Sport HBs I wouldn't be contemplating over the Si or even an MX-5. The salesman of my previous car purchase shared the same thought about Honda's limited production of MTs.

I only want a Sport HB in manual. That's why I ordered one. If you have to wait, you're going to wait to get what you really want.
