Replace everything that isn't the engine/transmission with a '92 Civic hatch

1. Xpel clear bra. Not sure I'll tint the windows yet.
2. Extra set of wheels and tires for track use.
3. Racing school - I am a drag racer and I have not done any road racing or autox.
4. Brake Pads/Lines

I would like to keep the engine stock for a while. I know that won't last long though. Software will be the easiest upgrade and most beneficial I believe. Just have to wait to see how quickly parts will be developed for the CTR.

Anything I can improve myself will be more bigger benefit than any bolt on given I will be tracking the car.

I just got off the phone with seibon and they confirmed that they will make CF doors and hatch for the CTR! First to come though are lips and hood of course.

won't small accessories from the EX-T Hatch fit the CTR? i.e. weather techs, window visors etc?

First mod: get a K&N replacement filter. Cheap and noticeable.

Wheel locks and seat locks. I can almost guarantee type R's will be a target like S2000's were for seats.

You guys better be garage keeping all your Civic Type R's. Out of sight out of mind from the thieves (for the most part).

If I was you I would make sure I had full coverage insurance, aftermarket alarm, LoJack, camera recording it and a car cover.

I already have the camera waiting for the front of my home, definitely thinking about LoJack + alarm. Gets quite expensive with insurance here though. Already paying insane money for just an Si because South Florida rates are absolutely crazy, not excited for the CTR rates.

Yeah, s2000 seats are nice, I remember having them in my civic back in the day.

Those S2000 seats were like almost 10 large to replace (when pricing out each part of the seat individually) - crazy! Hoping the S2000 seat locks will work on the CTR or if not, perhaps someone will make them.

That guy hasn't made the s2k seat locks in 10 years.
