Do they have to keep your car over night? I remember seeing someone say they needed to keep the car to let some adhesive dry is that the case for you? I asked for a loaner just in case they need to keep it. But I don't trust my dealer. They may fix it and let me take it when it may need to sit.
My SA told me 3 hour fix. He called me when they were done and informed me that the since they needed to use a sealant on the new part that it needed to sit out overnight to dry before they put everything back together and refilled it with fluid. He never told me this up front, but only after my technician ripped things apart underneath.

Was told the same. Thought it was odd given I can't remember seeing that on the TSB, but whatever's right for the car, they can do.

Took it to the dealer yesterday, described the issue without bringing up the bulletin. Told the service writer that it has happened on restarts where the car is already warm and it sounds like a grinding noise. They wanted me to reproduce the noise and obviously I couldn't replicate the issue. To top it off before I left the service writer came up to me and said I found the bulletin but unfortunately they won't fix it until they hear it or I have video evidence. Hopefully I'll get it on video...

I dropped my car off this morning.
They gave me a v6 accord as a loaner.
I love how powerful and smooth the engine is.

Hopefully they fix the thing right.

Your engine can be powerful and smooth with KTuner and some help from Vit ;). Sorry, I know off topic

Forgot to mention, I brought up since the car would need to be there 24+ hours would I get a loner vehicle. I was promptly told no and that Honda doesn't give loner vehicles..

This is my first Honda and I regret it. Nothing but problems with my car for the past year. Probably will be my last. And the service department is very rude and dismissive of my problems.

Only reason I even bought this was because my first car was a 85 Civic Hatch and I liked the way this one looked and was really comfortable in, I hoping that this is the only issue I have with the car.

FYI- it took my dealership Friday-Tuesday to execute. Could've just been waiting on parts. I don't think dealerships are required to give loaners but if they can't perform it same-day, a good dealership will take care of you. I've had dealers own their own rentals or contract through Enterprise.

You doing anything to test the fluid Mike? If so, report back to us- I did find it odd they had to replace it all.

It's not really that odd. The part that has to be replaced is far enough into the transmission that they have to drain the fluid just to get there, and you don't reuse fluid.

The thing is, SA conveniently "forgot" to tell the tech to save a sample of fluid for me..so no fluid to be test at all. Even with the work order saying it too.
