We were given some indications at the LA show that we may very well see a hatchback reveal at or around the time of the Geneva auto show (March).
That's definitely good news. It'll at least let us see what it'll look like, even if it isn't released until the fall.

If you don't count the gray sedan that was given to the press and was spotted/photographed in Michigan and posted here, then the first public sighting of a preproduction sedan was this one in September - http://www.civicx.com/threads/video-2016-honda-civic-spotted-rolling-down-ohio-freeway.171/
Doh I forgot about that one!
I was referring to the one that was soft-parked on the side of the road...in Michigan I Think. I got my dates wrong.
Spy shot of Sedan surfaced Sept 27th.
New Civic unveiled Sept 22nd.

I didn't mark down when the preproduction sedan was spotted soft-parked...

Can't wait to see what the hatchback looks like. That'll give us a great idea what the next Type R will be.
Oh yeah! As good as these guys are at making 'renderings,' once we have an actual hatchback to work with I think we'll get some great indicators as to what we will be looking at!

Im just curious to know if it is going to be a hatchback like the Versa, Impreza, Mazda3 or a liftback like the Mazda6, Crosstour and Prius.

Based on the shape from what we've seen, as well as the 8th and 9th gen hatches from europe it's actually more like the crosstour/prius. The back window is split, one slanted with the roof, and the other flat on the back of the car with a spoiler/tail light in between the 2 pieces. So you could compare it to the CRZ, Crosstour and prius more so than the traditional hatches on the Mazda3 or VW Golf.

I'm not a fan of the wheels at all. They really take away from this car. They need to be bigger... not huge, but enough to give this car the right look. Looks too economy.

Assuming you mean the side shot of the coupe on the side of the road, those are the EX wheels. They're 16 inch as opposed to the 17 inch wheels the EXT and above will have. That might be why they look a bit small.

Could be our test car from the highway video. Looks to be the touring model for the coupe. Photo is from Instagram courtesy of a user who sent it to Honda Pro Jason.

These can't be the actual Coupe Touring wheels, could they?

No, those are the EX wheels. My guess is this is just another test mule, so it's got some mismatched parts.

Has anyone else noticed we haven't seen ANY coupes with hubcaps? Even at the big event with all the colors the lowest trim they had there appeared to be the EX. Makes me wonder if the civic coupe will adopt the accord coupe trim scheme and start with an LXS trim which uses the EX wheels.
