I always bring my own oil when I get the S2000 serviced by one of two trusted Honda technicians I know.Beware dealers will use off brand stuff. My latest oil change was duramax brand oil lol
S2000s are known to be worse.Wow that's a lot of oil consumption.
This is true especially for earlier versions, but they seemed to fix it on later model years. My MY07 does not burn any oilS2000s are known to be worse.
I had a 96 EX with 230k miles before I sold it, engine burned no oil and ran like a clockFor me personally Honda engines have been hit or miss. 1996 civic one cylinder had more wear than the others and it went out. 1994 civic ran great until it didn't anymore. 2006 Si was a good car overall but used some oil. 2009 Si was a Great car. 2015 Si drank oil like it was going out of style and was really a lemon. Honda did not care about it using so much oil either.
I know, I have friends that still have them but I've had bad luck with them. On that same note family members have had some really good luck with chevy as where I had bad luck with chevy. Uncle had a 305 powered truck, 750kI had a 96 EX with 230k miles before I sold it, engine burned no oil and ran like a clock
