dropped my car off at the dealership for its first ever oil change at 7.7k at 10%. complained about the vibration on the gas and brake pedal when driving. apparently my motor mount is faulty and needs to be changed. glad it happened under warranty. but it got me thinking if i should spend extra for @Boomba Racing's motor mount. :hmm:
Where? How much? Synthetic? Lol. I'm deciding if I should get it done at the dealership or not. I really don't like going there.

I get pretty agitated with people when i'm playing online games so my license plate suites me. I haven't had regrets on it once. Plus if anyone asks, i'm also a geology major so i can use that excuse too
Nice car, what rims are those and size?

my reason is i want everything done to the car on paper if i do decide to sell the car in the future (highly unlikely). i was charged $45 for a synthetic oil change. i'll pm you the dealer location.

In my opinion, oil changes at the dealership is subpar at best

Was a little chilly this morning but I swapped out my stock winter steel wheels for 17" EX-T wheels.

TPMS alert did not come on.

Normal or an issue?

I put my originals back on last weekend and when I drove to work the next morning the light came on. Turns out all 4 were between 20-25psi from sitting over 4 months.

I would check the air just to be sure. Then calibrate after fill up.
Mine lost 10 psi this winter too, I didn't even think about NOT checking the pressure, put them back up to 40psi and carried on with my day lol having a compressor when swapping makes it a lot easier.

Cool, but do I even bother calibrating if TPMS alert doesn't appear?

Just got back from Chicagoland Speedway and getting to drive on the track. Took us around to the start/finish line and around to the pit entrance. 40-50mph, I got it to 56 on the backstretch. 24 degrees of banking feels more like 50. Was really a very cool experience, for charity, $10 a person.

Drained the semi-syn the dealer put in for some Schaeffer 5W20 full syn with moly aditive. Valve train noise is virtually non-existant. My brother uses this in his fleet trucks so he gets it sampled to him by his account manager. I got a case for free this time. Still used the OEM Honda filter as I got a deal on a lot of them on ebay. May look at other options in the future.

Honda says to run the calibration every time you've refilled the tires or changed wheels. Doesn't hurt, I'd say.
