Did you switched out there winter tires yet?

Didn't even end up buying winter tires i got lucky this year

Swapping next Wednesday. Cannot wait. I hate the steel ones. I am browsing to get some nice rims but I might just wait. There is no snow but the tires are mainly based on the temperature. So we have some swings.... regardless... I cannot stand my winter tires anymore... lol.

I'm still on my snows cause I can't decide whether to use the Sport 18s or buy 17" OZs.

Reason I can't decide is cause I might have to sell the car within a year, don't want to be trying to offload 3 sets of wheels/tires.

Easter weekend for the Civic on the Firestones, then maybe last week in April for my other car that rides on high performance summer tires.

Here in Minnesota, daytime temperatures started climbing around mid-March. And I was getting more and more squirrelly about swapping the Blizzaks on moda MD18 rims that have been on my car since December.


The day Michelin posted its $70 rebate, I ordered a set of Premier A/S tires, as recommended by several forum members and numerous TireRack customers.


I picked them up at a nearby TireRack distribution facility that morning. My neighborhood mechanic mounted and balanced them on the OEM rims, replacing the Firestones. Luv the Michelins. Just wished they were on the moda rims. Maybe next summer.

Same question buddy! Im from ottawa, initialy though I will swap on 12/15th of April. but today the forecast says it would be like 10+ to 15+.

We should swap the tires to all season ASAP?

I took my winter tire and wheel sets off a few weeks ago. I had them back on the front Wednesday and Thursday though, because I had a damaged tire and couldn't use the spare with my long highway daily commute. Got the tire replaced today, so all is well again.

already paint my next set up for next winter...im a maniac...lol

You should switch once the temps stay above 7 degrees Celsius (roughly 40 degrees Fahrenheit). Anything too much above that, and you'll eat your Snows. I just about did mine last weekend but decided to wait until next weekend and was glad I did as it is colder than that today (about 60 miles north of Toronto). I generally do October 15-April 15 on snows.. but sometimes will go as late as November 15 depending upon the temperatures in the fall. The first snowstorm always catches people who forget how to drive and I like to be well prepared.

What is the winter tire did you use 6
I use Michelin X Ice winter tires, they are quiet like the original all saison tire come with the car.
Most other winter tires are noisy.
