Not sure if it's the N54 or N55, but either way the Civic would obviously get spanked. BMW tends to underrate their engines.

2 intake I think it would be the N54 motors.
I cant see the video but without a tune, it will still beat the civic LOL

Pretty sure even a stock CTR couldn't keep up. I have a n54 335i, and they respond ridiculously well to a simple tune. Not uncommon to see 335i push 360-400whp with just those mods.

They sure as hell are, total sleepers IMO...everyone assumes you have the 328i
Of course, you have to consider the price, maintenance costs, and gas mileage. Rather have my 1.5 tuned and modded. Then we could race. BMW at 3400 lbs wouldn't have much advantage then.

Have you driven a lightly modded 335 and a heavily modded 335?
I dont think 1.5T can get near a modded 335i

No I haven't. Should have clarified, meaning a stock BMW 335i. Have to admit, if I had the money, a BMW would be sweet.

I had that same mentality of owning a BMW (still do) thinking it would be sweet.
Worst choice ever a used BMW.
My Bmw broke down on me 6 times a year (suspension blew on me twice)
Thats why I got the Civic.

But even stock 335i is pretty damn push-back fast tho

I used to want a BMW until my friend bought a 335i and over the course of the two years that he has owned it:

- Moonroof got stuck in the open position, some motor died
- Plugged in iPod and the whole port got fried
- XM radio module died and had to be replaced
- Oil pressure warning came on, the engine was going through oil, dealer said it was normal (?!?!)
- Various sensors threw warnings and had to be replaced

This is just from what I remember. It drove real nice when it wasn't in the shop though. He also got to drive a lot of different BMWs because he had so many loaners from the dealership.

My 335i was a champ for 100k miles, no issues. My last 30k hasnt been as kind . When I was only a stage 1 (flash + intake) I hung with my friend's C63 and viper SRT10. From 40-120 both slowly pulled about 2 car lengths on me.

You say that as if the 1.5T Civic can even hang with a stock 335. Remember the N54/N55 335i (now replaced with B58/340i) is underrated.
