That thread is 40 pages in 18 hrs. crazy. I drove 35 minutes home from work and it had added 6 pages this afternoon. I am helping boost the post count though

Ya that's what the little bottle is in my pic. I don't drink so that surely makes no sense to me.

He's gone beyond being a troll (pretty apparent a while ago) and he's just being a moron. Trolling means you occasionally do it for the lulz, to get a reaction, but when you "troll" 24/7 across various forums you're just being an idiot.

Wait, I mean you should use this ;) cause muh viscosity

Well guess not..the problem with that is they can make any claim they want and not have to back it up or conform to a published spec sheet so having said that they do have a good reputation except for the weird marketing and pyrimid type pricing, if I were to go this route I'd have looked hard at a Redline.

Anyway, this sort of Amsoil speak is just misleading the sheep, they're not certified...

APPLICATIONS AMSOIL Signature Series Synthetic Motor Oil is excellent for use in all types of gasoline-fueled passenger cars and light trucks. It is recommended for all domestic and foreign vehicles requiring any of the following performance specifications: 0W-20 (ASM): API SN (Resource Conserving), SM…; ILSAC GF-5, GF-4…; ACEA A1/B1; GM dexos1™ (supersedes 6094M) Fortified with detergents that exceed dexos1 sulfated ash specifications; Chrysler MS-6395; Ford WSS-M2C947-A

Recommended Engine Oil
Oil is a major contributor to your engine's
performance and longevity. If you drive the
vehicle with insufficient or deteriorated oil,
the engine may fail or be damaged.
This seal indicates the oil is energy conserving
and that it meets the American Petroleum
Institute’s latest requirements.
Use Genuine Honda Motor Oil or another
commercial engine oil of suitable viscosity for
the ambient temperature as shown here.
â–  Synthetic oil
You may also use synthetic motor oil if it is labeled with the API Certification Seal
and is the specified viscosity grade.
• Genuine Honda Motor Oil
• Premium-grade 0W-20 detergent oil with an API Certification

Looks like the Amsoil SS would be a problem if a warranty claim were to be filed:

1.) no API Starburst on container (uncertified)
2.) the grade is actually a 0/30
3.) triple dose of Ca which has been flagged for LSPI catastrophic engine failure

I like a Amsoil but not in this application.

Now you're concerned with warranty claims?

not really but if you get a thump and the engines gone it's probably the ultra high Ca #3 then #1 gives Honda an out..just be aware...I like the 0/30 upgrade part.

Dude, this is last time I'll say anything to you. NO OIL these days will cause your engine to fail. You might get better or worse MPG, the oil might wear quicker or longer, but they are all decent. So why don't you just shut the frak up, and move on. Your not a Honda engineer, your not an oil technician, you can't even speak english well apparently, so lay off.
