Oh man, you've got an awesome looking car there! I've been holding out for the Coupe but after seeing your beauty, I'm reconsidering! Also, the black on black is perfect! ;)

I think changing the offset changes the camber, so you need an alignment. Also it can stress the bearings more.
True, when offset is changed, the weight of the car will influence the ride height differently, when ride height is changed, all suspension, camber, caster, and toe-in will change. But it'd have to be a pretty big offset change to make a big enough difference to require an alignment. The 7mm offset change here isn't much.

Man does that look good in the last photo! The fastback shape of the CivicX is just way sleek.

Looking good out there at the rest stop. Ofcourse im getting a black civic in the near future. so i envy yours. ;) :) lol

... fun pic with the police photo shop.... the funny thing is i have a black ford fusion, and when i am behind people on the highway they seem to get out of the way quicker than usual. LOL... especially if there is a white suv behind me. haha.

thanks for providing the tire calculator numbers. looks like you didn't make much of a difference at all as far as imporant stats like speedo or diamater. and they look good. i think i would like to try 18s eventually on mine. and ofcourse trying to get the numbers as close as possible too. :)

cheers.

Judging by the pics posted by the other member of his red Civic with 18" wheels, that size fits the size of the 2016 Civic nicely. And you should still be able to fit enough meat on the tires to keep the ride comfortable.

What kind of work was needed on your Civic in those 30,000 miles beyond oil filter, tire rotation etc.?
Other than the tsb recalls nothing but oil and rotating tires.

I just hit 32,000 yesterday.
