FYI, the difference between these three is not just price; they're also different lengths. There is at least one person who said the 6th gen bulbs are too long for the 2016 Civic (see customer Q&A on Amazon page).

Lengths, from respective Amazon pages:
5th gen: 27mm (reported working)
6th gen: 29mm (reported as too long)
7th gen: 28mm (no reports found)

Sooner, you said the 5th gen worked for you; can you tell if there's leeway in terms of length? Specifically, do you think a bulb 1mm longer would fit?

EDIT: I just installed the 5th gen in my 2017 Civic, and it seems like the 27mm length just barely allows the cover to depress. I can't 100% confirm this, but I wouldn't be surprised if the 28mm 7th gen bulbs are too long.

I also got the iJDMTOY LED strip for the trunk, and it looks great! the wire length is just barely long enough to fit through the hole beside the trunk light cover and reach the bulb socket.

Forgot to post pictures. My car is dirty. It's been raining and we got some snow already. I added led to the whole interior and added Philips true white to de side markers. I think they are way too bright. I kinda like them but they are OP. Dunno if I am gonna keep them like that or what should I do.

I will do the HID upgrade to my front lights. Something to match the day leds. That's the next upgrade.

Out of curiosity...has any changed the hatchback bulbs yet? It's late and tried doing mine, but found there is a little plastic cover over the bulb in the trunk. Anybody know how to remove it without breaking it? Will try again in the daylight but had a heck of a time at night

Take a pic of it for me and maybe I can try to help...it may be the same as other cars I've done

Any ideas how to remove that clear plastic cover? Or is that not needed to remove bulb. Trying not to break anything

just pull horizontally. It is the same as the sedan. Also you can unplug it.

its gonna be hot... so grab a cloth or something. You can pull from the bulb.

I mean... step 1... pull the plug... step 2 remove the bulb. lol

LOL. Its ok! .....ummm just read next time lol.

I fought with the dam clip to remove it out of the truck. I was pulling down and you just had to push the pin. So... ill give you that one. hahaha THE STRUGGLES!!!

Sorry I was late on my reply. I had to wait to get the car near me and just checked it out. glad you got it situated.

I had to register to post lol. I saw how easy it was to replace the bulb so had to do it. I bought a little pad that has about 20 leds and worked great.

Looks something like the pad in this picture. Bought them from socal accesories in montclair ca.

Hey, which LED did you go with for the hatch area?

So I went to Walmart and picked up a pack which came with two bulbs. It fits but I'm worried about it being almost too close to the cover. Anybody else have that issue?
