7.8 seconds to 60 is not bad at all for the LX!

Decent time but too much tire screeching for the amount of power the 2.0L is putting down. Blame it on the tires. Could have been even lower than 7.8s.

Love how linear the power delivery is with it being naturally aspirated engine.

Totally agree. I currently drive a 5MT Accord LX with a 160hp K24. They screech quite easily because the LX tires are so narrow.

Can't wait until a member puts on some more performance oriented tires and goes for some VBOX recorded 0-60 runs. Who wants to step up? :D

How about LX wit cvt? Could it be lower?
I've read reviews that say the CVT zaps some of the oomph from the 2.0... but I haven't seen any actual hard numbers on it.

thanks, made my day. question i have is that where does the rev limiter kick in?
It's probably the same as for the Type R's 2.0 turbo, at 7,000 rpm.

The one in that video is only at 1234 miles, and has a half tank of fuel... Wheel spin for most of 1st gear. Those tires really are slick.
