Does anyone have any experience with putting a new TV in the back of a 2016 sedan? I'm looking at buying a 50" Samsung LED TV and I don't have access to my car for a few days. Would anyone be so kind as to measure the width of the narrowest point in the trunk with the seats folded down? I'd be greatly appreciative! Thank you.

By the way, new owner of a black 2016 Civic EX-T in Victoria, BC, Canada - loving it so far!

I don't think it'll fit man. I bought a 50" a while ago and the box was as wide as the second row seats in a Toyota Sienna.
With packaging and whatnot the box is considerably bigger.

Also welcome, fellow british columbian!

My tv out of the box fit in the backseat, however not in the trunk or through the seats.

Just order it off Amazon. They will send delivery guys and even unpack it for you. I believe you can specify the date and time to drop it off.

It really depends on the packaging of the TV. I was able to fit a 55" LG tv in the back seat area of my Infiniti G20, but the box only fit where rear passengers would put their feet. If I had it on the seats both rear door armrests / handles pinched the box. You maybe able to fit the box if you fold your front passenger seat down flat and try to stand the tv box but you risk damaging your headliner. Best of luck.
