I watched the the keynote but they didn't say nothing about android auto... It was all about mobile phones, V.R, and home automation...

I really want to try this.

I also why Waze, running in the background (I have my phone set to launch Waze as soon as a Bluetooth connection is detected), has much clearer voice prompts than Google Maps through Android Auto. Google Maps sounds especially horrible when the network connection is poor and it falls back to the phone's TTS. It all sounded great on my old, not-Android Auto vehicle.

The Waze beta team mentioned something about January in the beta forums. The hangup for beta testing is that Google won't let distribute an updated version of the Android Auto app.

Maybe they should be in a hurry! I had no idea the alcoholism was so big of a problem in Wales that the entire country was coming to AA meetings!

Tried Waze years ago but somehow it didn't stick; never found it to be all that helpful, and have been using Google Maps for a long time and it's been really good.
Will check out the Waze app again, I guess maybe they've improved things...? What's so special about it that makes it so much better than GM?

There biggest difference is that it warns you about accidents or police that are on your route.
