You should be able to still turn on Adb in the developer settings and restore the file using that? I'm guessing factory reset didn't do anything.

Does it matter if the head unit is with nav or not? I have 2016 Ex Trim with no Nav and was trying to update my headunit.

I bought and installed the app on my phone. Then used an apk extractor app to pull the apk and install it on my headunit.

I've been using Torque Pro, but I don't think a bluetooth obdii works, I've just been using the wifi one.

@mikealanni Just wondering will this remove all of the operation restrictions while driving permanently? Not worried too much about the video while driving, but more so about being able to use the notification drawer/keyboard while driving. It would make using Spotify/Waze way easier. Thank you!

Just bought an escort smart wire switch and was wondering where if anyone has any suggestions for where I can mount the mute switch.
