I've been using the Mobile 1 extended performance filters for a long time.

The Mobil1 M-110A always tests very well, excellent construction, 99+% efficiency. I've used them for the last 10 years without any issues with the filter or the engine it was used on. The Honda A01 (Filtech) is decent and acceptable, but the A02 (Fram) is, although meeting "spec", is pretty marginal. Probably, with 5k changes works ok, but the overall construction, cardboard end caps, thin case & cheap ADB, doesn't inspire confidence. The Mobil1 is so well made, just gives me a lot more confidence. YMMV

I currently use OEM with Mobile 1 AFE. My UOA results were just fine, but I do swap filters every oil change.

I'm due to add a mild tune, and will probably trade up to a Mobile 1 filter or equivalent at that time.

Can you link, please? That's a good buy if they're still on sale .

I buy whatever is the higher end Fram that, despite the name, got very good reviews on BITOG. I had been buying Purolator Pure Ones back when they were top dog bit they've been playing middle fiddle for a few years. J35 Odyssey, L15 Civic and at least my old 9th gen K24 Civic all take the same filters. I can't remember if the RSXs were the same but I wouldn't doubt it.

Unfortunately they have raised the price to $33.49 for x5 ($6.70 per filter)

I use oem A01 filters. The A02 filters are garbage made by fram
It doesn't really matter, they work. I went 7K on my last OEM filter, and the oil was very good with normal contamination levels for that mileage. I could have gone 2 or 3K more according to the oil analysis. For $2 bucks plus some change for a filter, that works for me

EDIT
I meant $5 a filter, not $2

To each their own but I refuse to use anything made by Fram. Very cheaply made and poor design.
