Okay, whew! Turning glossy into matte on a surface with layers of reflection (like water!) is nigh-impossible without 3D rendering, so, did the best I could. I also had to do a bit of ‘bodywork’ to fill in some gaps. Also, I was given no direction on what to do with the trim and spoiler, so, just left them as-is. Hopefully, these are good enough to get the overall idea of what it’ll look like.

Personally, I vote for matte red because it keeps the ‘feel’ of Yūrei.

well first round of new parts have arrived this morning!
outter and inner tie rod for the driver side and i think the bellows for that side as well

stuff on order
new falken azenis RT660s (should show up on the 14th
pasenger outter and inner tie rods and bellows for the steering rack
motor mounts
side markers
99-2000 fog lights (these will be used for a intake and a route to run a tube to cool the brakes the fog lights will not be used)

not on order but i will be picking up a set of form and function coilovers this weekend for 300 bucks these are off an integra so they will have stiffer spring rates but should be fine for now

i do need to find some spacers for the hx wheels so they are not so sunk into the fender but we will deal with that later

so there is two things Sumi still struggles with
1. brakes they are still odd will try and mess with it this weekend
2. sloppy shifter(even with new bushings)

so whats the next step? well after doing some digging it turns out its the roll pin on the shifter (aka the bitch pin) people say to put a new one of these in and also check all the stuff in the shifter under the center console here is a pic so you all know what im talking about.

red. this is all the internal stuff inside the car that can fall apart from age because well 90s Japanese shit plastic (i know this from my old 91 toyota pickup i had)
blue. this is the roll pin aka the bitch pin its awful to get out and awful to get in i guess so ill need to swap that
yellow. these are the bushings i already replaced and bolts i replaced
Honda Civic 10th gen Sumi the track toy build thread. plus BS thread! 1623201609799

eventually a short shifter would be great but atm we are doing fixes then one day we can start adding fun stuff

All of my 6th Gen Civics had sloppy shifters, and while bushing upgrades were the best typical upgrade, I contemplated if it was possible to tighten up the tolerances even within the transaxle. Overall, these cars just are NOT like the 10th Gen. In fact, the tightness of the 10th Gen from the factory is part of what sold me, and the “Stage 2+” upgrade makes it all the more perfect.
