What happened, did you curb it? I'm constantly scared of doing that, with these low-profile tires.

I curbed the one avoiding a crash. The other rim is actually bent. I got a flat tire one night and the shop that put the tire on the rim bent the rim. But according to company policy I can't go after them to fix the bent rim. After that ordeal I ordered the spare tire kit and decided to drive this less often. Lesson learned

Don't let that bad experience cause you to enjoy your car less! Similar thing happened to me when I got my last new car. I curbed one of the real nice OEM rims and it made me real mad. I did exactly what you're doing, just found some used replacement rims, and then kept the damaged one as a spare. I did it again, and so had two damaged rims. I repaired them as best as I could myself, and then used those rims to mount winter tires.
