No; nothing worth looking at under there. Just has to work.

Kinda cool but would be a ton of work to keep both the clear hood and the engine bay itself clean - thinking as an owner the novelty would wear off pretty quickly.

also not the most impressive appearing engine as it’s still covered by plastic - although the intake plumbing looks nice.

keeping it clean and scratch free would suck! but i could see it being cool if you have all the eye candy for it, like engine cover and carbon bits and its just a show car. but pass for me. dont really care for it for practical use

Plastic has a far lower density than aluminum, weight reduction bro! #racecar :p In all seriousness, the look isn't for me, but it's not my car it would be going on.

No, but I could appreciate someone who chose to do so.

The cooling of the engine was reduced once with this modification. The hood scoop is missing and the plastic doesn’t provide a better heat spreading like the aluminium. The answer is no, but for the show maybe it works.

Interesting, no need to explain your mods.
Prolly scratch easily, get cloudy over time. It should filter most UV rays but it exposes materials not meant for full sun exposure (rubber hoses, plastics not fade resistant). That means gray cracking hoses, pink valve cover at some point.

If your goal is to be unique, show off your highly detailed engine then as one groundhog said to the other, “Gopher it.”

I’ll be the one to say what’s probably in most guys heads even subconsciously.

Do they make clear ladies clothing?

Reminds me of people that put see through clutch covers on motorcycles. Why?
