Wondering about the Pros and Cons of 19” wheels on a 2019 Civic Touring Sedan

I’m looking to put 19” rims on my cosmic blue civic. Figment industries and other spots say that they will be fine with no cons or rubbing. I am worried they are just trying to sell product though. Does anyone have 19”rims and can anyone tell me the pros and cons? The rims below are Lexani Savages in they’re 19.5” and the current OEM rims I have now are 18”

19in wheels should be fine as long as the tire is sized correctly with it. For example say you currently have 235/40R18s, you would want to get 235/30R19s or something similar. Some of the downsides to this is 19in tires are more expensive most of the time, and you now have less rubber between the rim of the wheel and the road, meaning you'll feel a lot more bumps in the road and it's making the wheels more susceptible to damage from potholes and curbing. A lot of Type R owners I've spoken to will downsize from 20s to 18s for this reason. More meat on the side makes for a comfier ride, amongst other things.

My big negative would be the fact those wheels with tires will be ever heavier than your stock 18 setup.

Out of 265 Lexani Savage wheel color/size options on FI there is literally 1 size/color in stock and it's ironically one of the only sizes they make that would fit. And I absolutely wouldn't run them for $442 a wheel.

I put 19” accord rims on my 2017 touring. The rims came with 235/40/19 tires but they fit amazing with no rubbing. The car almost looks lowered and it isn’t. My fuel efficiency went down a small amount, and my Speedo is off by about 3%.
