So in my previous thread:
https://www.civicx.com/forum/thread...ion-controlled-power.43867/page-2#post-723850

I used fuse #1 to wire the USB charger. I'd like to wire a new, hidden 12V DC socket in there as well. How would I go about this? Connect both the USB charger and 12V DC socket to the same add-a-fuse wire (the red one that's plugged into the fuse socket) then add a higher rated fuse for that red wire that both are now connected to?

I don't have an answer for you. But let me be that PSA, party pooper, guy.

Below is the schematic of what an add-a-fuse circuit looks like. Say F1 is the factory fuse and F2 is the fuse you're adding.

Here're some interesting questions you should be asking and answering
1. After adding F2, what's the maximum current allowed to flow thru the RY1 contact?
2. What's the current rating of the RY1 contact?
3. What's the current rating of the wire connecting the RY1 contact to the battery?

Here're some even crazier questions
c1. Is the add-a-fuse part UL Listed?
c2. Is it a good idea to swap out a circuit breaker in your home fuse panel with another having higher current rating?

Forgot to mention; both devices will rarely be used simultaneously.
