Winter wheels/tires question.

I'm planning to buy some winter tires/rims for my 2019 Si.

Should this rim spec clear the brakes?

Steel Wheel Specs:
Size :17x7
Diameter: 17
Bolt Pattern (mm): 5x114.3
Offset (mm): 40
Center Bore (mm): 64.1

Yes. And the tire size that matches closest to the stock diameter is 215/50R17. Anything different and your speedometer may be off by a couple mph

Tire size are 215/55/17 so the calibration might differ a bit correct?

Continental VikingContact 7 is what I just bought. It’s brand new in the US, but it’s had really great reviews in Europe. Supposedly outperforming Michelin and Bridgestone in ice handling.

They look sick too. Really excited to see how they perform on the Si.

Taller tire will give you more cushion when you nail a pothole too. How are the roads in Toronto?

Pretty decent actually never experienced any deep potholes or whatsoever even if I'm running a 35 series on my summer tires.
