Will I rub? I want to run 18x8.5 +35 on 245/40R18s. Lowered on the Eibach Pro-kit

I'm already lowered and the wheels are on the way. So I'm trying to see if I can run the tire size I mentioned in the title without rubbing at all. Thanks for the help!

I rubbed at full compression on the tab everyone flips without being lowered. My setup is 18x8.5 +38 on same size tires. I assume if I flip the tab I will not rub anymore as some have mentioned.

TL:DR: You will need to flip the fender screw tab or you will rub, probably be okay after.

Go for a 245/35R18. I have the same wheel size, and last year I had more rub when I was running the stock all-seasons (235/40R18). If you choose a great tire, it takes away any concerns about loss of ride comfort - I chose the Continental ExtremeContact Sport, an excellent tire so far :)

Wouldn’t that make the wheel gap bigger?
