Will a Type R hood fit a 2016 coupe?

Hi guys, I asked this about a year ago, but just wanted to double check. Would a type R hood with the scoop fit a 2016 coupe? I think the previous answer I got was negative, but if anyone knows for sure, I'd appreciate the info. Thanks.

I thought I heard this was a yes, but you have to modify the latch...not 100% sure tho

I would just scrap the Type R hood and purchase a Seibon Carbon Hood.
Yes, I've considered that idea. I'm not 100% sold on the carbon fiber look, however. Will probably scrap the whole idea, I just really like the look of the hood scoop.

I love the CF hoods, but I'd paint the outsides to match the body, leave the center bare...
it's just not on my radar for a couple yrs tho

Yes I know what you mean! ...if you see my other thread, my car got mashed by our deck collapsing on it last week...so I'm getting a new hood anyway. Guess I'll go with the standard one for now. Thanks for your replies.
