Hey guys, I’ve been reading some useful information on this forum and now is the time to ask my own questions I guess.
Found some 5x120 r18 wheels for sale online and was wondering if there is going to be any fender rubbing/fitment issues if I use a 5x114.3 to 5x120 wheel adapters? The tires are 225/45/18 Thanks

depends.... if we knew the offset and width of the wheels we would be able to make a guess.

Sorry, the offset of the wheels I am looking at is 40mm and the width is 8

My guess, and this is just a guess but I think you would be fine as long as the spacer doesn’t exceed 25mm.... 20mm would probably be flush.

Why would you want to use a wheel adapter? This will increase the unnecessary upsprung weight. Go for a proper wheel fitment, this will eliminate any potential wheel problem.

You need to resist the "urge to buy"! Just get the proper lug pattern, more width with an offset closer to stock. You'll be much better off in the long run.

Thanks, I am actually going to decline such a sweet $350 offer for those 5x120 18 and stick with the oem bolt pattern?
