You can get wheel spacers that go on a 5x114.3 hub and the spacer will have 5x120 studs

Yes, but those are usually ~20mm thick, so the wheel will effectively be a +25 offset on a 9.5 width. Would probably rub at stock height, unless you had 235/40 tires stretched on, fender work, or more negative camber.

I run type r wheels on my Si coupe in the summer with 20mm adapters on stock suspension and I’ve had zero issues

Ya, but those are 8.5" wide and +60 offset.

OP was asking about aftermarket 9.5" wide wheels with + 45 offset (but with 5x120 bolt pattern needing a 5x114.3 adapter for the Si.)

basically I have a set of TE37SL’s (18 x 9.5+45) in a 5x120 bolt pattern, a buddy at work is interested in but he drives an Si and was wondering if it was compatible.

Sounds like maybe with wheel spacers… but then there is the possibility of rubbing…

Depending on how far you guys are willing to go to make this deal work, you could find a wheel shop / machine shop that could redrill the mounting holes to 5x114.3.

Roll the fenders.
