I am putting together a Acura RL caliper kit for my Si for giggles and experimentation. The one hold up is upgrading to these brakes means more pedal travel to actuate the fronts, rears catching first, etc.
I scanned through the forums to see if there is any existing info on swapping to a bigger brake master cylinder to alleviate the issue. Does the Type R BMC bolt up to the Si? It looks like it does.
It seems like a no brainer mod for a bbk for the Civic Si being a 1" cylinder vs the 7/8", the two models share the same rear calipers, but the Type R is equipped with bigger front calipers. Any thoughts?
