Wierd paint marring on new 2017 Honda Civic Sedan

Hello all,

I purchased my new civic around three weeks ago and I've been pretty happy about the car.
However, this morning while getting stuff out the trunk, I noticed this wierd marring on the top right side of the trunk. I tried cleaning it with a microfiber cloth and water but nothing.
Is this a manufacturing defect? Should I get in touch with my dealer?

Looks like Honda forgot to buff that part and also missed it during inspection.

It could've also happened at the dealer although I can't imagine how.

It is an easy fix, just has to be buffed out with some compound or polish and a light cutting pad.

Hey thanks for the reply. Do you think I should contact the dealer or do it myself?
