It doesn't though I have to release the the pedal for it to stop doing that, I already took it to the dealership and they said how that happens sometimes. It's so stupid and I hate it when that happens,Ughhh. That sounds horrible. Take that in to a dealer asap. The CVT should be dropping rpms when you are near/at redline even if you were to continue flooring it.
It would've stayed out even longer if I didn't release the gas paddle, it's been happening more and more lately. Wish someone knew what is causing thisWTF is going on?! Just stays tach'd out for a few seconds on its own?
If they say it's normal, try another dealer. That's not normal. It doesn't though I have to release the the pedal for it to stop doing that, I already took it to the dealership and they said how that happens sometimes. It's so stupid and I hate it when that happens,
Yes I'm tuned but this had happened before I was even tuned, it mostly happens when I floor the car from a stopAre you tuned or have you installed any performance mods?
I did took it to dealer when the car was stock, and they keep telling me that's happens every now then, it was stock when it did that twice, then I just leave itFlash back to stock first I guess and see how it goes. if it keeps doing it then go to the dealer.
The thing is it doesn't happen every time, maybe 2 or 3 times out of 10, and other times it'll happen more or less,I wonder if the pedal sensor is just faulty. Do you know someone else with a 10th gen, with whom you can swap their pedal into your car to see if that fixes the issue?
I think I see what you mean. Seems to happen often enough to be of concern. I wonder if it has to do with pedal position. Does it only happen when fully floored? What about 90% throttle? I was just thinking that swapping a different known-working pedal in would be an easy way to eliminate a variable. The thing is it doesn't happen every time, maybe 2 or 3 times out of 10, and other times it'll happen more or less,
