Work Emotion Kiwami 19x9.5,et38. 255/35 MPS 4s tires. No rubbing. Fair amount or torque steer with this offset. If I tracked my car, I’d probably put the OEM wheels back on with better tires.

Genuine Honda 19x18.5 FK2 wheels. 245/35/19 Michelin PS4S.

Same offset and within a few percent rolling diameter as the OEM wheels.

Very noticeable improvement in comfort with very little trade off in performance.

Would love to see more snaps of these if you have them. So difficult to find pictures of the FK2 rims on an FK8.

Looking at wheels down the road, 19s seem to be the perfect size to me.

I'd like to see some setups with details.
Hi Guys/Gals,
Just bought him some new shoes,
Rays 57Transcend 19X9.5 +38mm 5X120 wrapped in Nitto Invo 255/35/19 on stock suspension height, no rubbing on dips & speed bumps and also makes full turns left to right.. Hope this helps anyone here for reference. Note: still waiting on the center caps to come in, seller did not have them in stock at the time of purchase.

Noticed that most of the folks in this thread are running 255's instead of 265's. I've been looking into something with at least a +45 offset and would like to run it with 265/35's, but not sure if I'll rub on stock height. Thoughts?

On stock height it wont rub but the main reason why people don't run 265/35 is because the overall wheel diameter exceeds OEM specs on a 19" rim. The alternative to 255/35 is 265/30. I actually may opt for the 265/30 next time to gain back some of the agile turn in that you lose on the 255 set up (but comfort is great on this set up).

I'm running 255/35/19 on stock height (with no plans on lowering) which originally I was going to run 255/40/19 but was told I might rub, glad I went with the 255/35/19 with no issues on rubbing on speed bumps or dips, also make full turns as well. As for the 265/35/19, not sure on that. Good luck with your decision and :drive:safe.

Supposedly 265/35 on a ET40-something 9.5” wheel stock height won’t rub and will work fine according to a W&T company guru who I got to see pics on his Type R running that combo.
The rule is generally tire width shouldn’t exceed 1” (2.54cm) wider than wheel.

Using 19” x9.5=24.13.cm. aka 241.3 mm. 265-241.3=23.7 mm or 2.37 cm, just under one inch at 2.54cm or .933” total. Should be GTG.

I went with 255/35-19 just to get to tuck flush on Eibach Pro springs (.8”-1”) drop but camber ok as is. I’ve heard some minor rub (just flare fenders) is possible if I’d gone with 265 but there are variables by tire model & size that can help or hurt.
