Alright guys made some progress. Still figuring out ways to anchor the seat delete down. Have a few ideas and will be testing out slowly over time.

I don't know how many of you guys would actually be interested in a rear seat delete for 10th gen civics but here goes nothing.

The only option available currently for rear seat delete for 10th gens is evasive's product which comes in at a hefty 850 USD. Im 100% positive I can fabricate something for wayyyyyy cheaper. Lets say approximately 250USD or maybe even less.

Figured i'd start this thread to see who else would be interested. If I get 10 people who show interest, Ill rip the back seats out of the Type R, measure some stuff up, and make a demo product to use on my vehicle. If enough people like what they see, I can make a batch and sell em. I'd start with the hatch since that is what I own, and if there's enough traction Id move onto coupe and sedan.

Count me in! Installing the EVS 4 point cage in my FK8 and their rear seat delete is both expensive and sucks. Your example looks perfect! I am all bout it.

i just looked at the evasive site and the pics. hope everyone knows that with the rear seat bottom removed the seat back folds down to just about as flat as this. dont know what 800 includes but no way.

yep only a 12mm? bolt and 2 tabs to release. assuming the type r is the same, give it a try takes less than 10 min.

i would still want to trim out the back area tho. which is what i think the OP is puting together.

I was just thinking about the feasibility of this the other day! ? In my two years with The Hotness™️, I’ve used the back seat exactly once.
