I recently got my springs but haven’t installed yet. I saw some conflicting information about whether or not the bump stops need trimming. I also asked about the printed text on the springs, some people seem to be installing them upside down.

I got this response from Whiteline and thought someone else might be looking for this info:

RE: Whiteline Performance Inquiry (SKU: WSK-HON017) Rubber Bump Stops

Hello James. Thank you for contacting Whiteline Performance. Whiteline appreciates you being a valuable customer. It is recommended not to cut rubber bump stops. The printed text orientation should be right side up, not upside down. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out to me. Thank you.

Hey, I can confirm that bump stops don't need to be trimmed, but in regards to the print I'm not on the same page with the Whiteline rep because Yes, their springs can have the text upside down. I have the same springs on my Blue Si with the text upside down.

When removing the factory springs, note how each one is sitting, and you'll be able to match the orientation when putting in any aftermarket springs. Here's a pic of mine:

I've enjoyed them as a dual purpose street and track spring with a subtle drop. We do have 4 sets in stock if anyone would like :)

Quick follow up : haven’t picked it up but my guy says the only way the springs would go in was with the text upside down.

Mine are also upside down. One of the front springs were shorter than the other.
