White Orchid Pearl and Platinum White Pearl the same?

I'm ordering replacement bumper garnish trim pieces. I have a 2017 Sport Touring hatchback and the pieces come from a 2020. Do "White Orchid Pearl" and "Platinum White Pearl" look the same?

As far as I know the Platinum White Pearl is more white than Orchid White Pearl, but a guy on Facebook did this mod without a repaint and said it's close enough. If I'm going to do it, I think I'll repaint it, my OCD will keep reminds me they're different lol

My neighbor came home with a 2020 sedan in red. His bumper garnish trim pieces have what look like very shiny silver or chrome instead of red like the rest of the car. Looked kind of weird.

They are different. White Orchid is NH788P, Platinum is NH883P. Platinum has significantly more sparkle and is a different shade of white. Given that the moldings float in the garnish though, you can probably get away with it on pieces that small. Might be noticeable in certain lighting.

Did you ever end up doing this? I am in the same boat. I have seen people just buy the rear “vents” for a 2020 black SI but I wasn’t sold on it.

I ordered the pieces just last week and the place I ordered from says they're back-ordered.

I'll update this thread once I get them in.

Can anyone give me the break down on how to replace the rears? First of all do they just pop out like the front ones? Any advice would be helpful.
